Sarah Troyer
Sarah Troyer is a highly experienced and versatile performer with almost 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She is an accomplished film actress and an international voice actor, with a wide range of skills and expertise in multiple fields which she developed over 15 years in various schools, including Voice at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Theatre at Central Memorial’s Performing and Visual Arts program, Improv with Blind Tiger, and VO at On The Mic Training.
Sarah is known for her notable performances in several productions, including the Best Supporting Actress Nominee, "How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse (Nikki)" at the Indie Gathering International Film Festival and the lead actress in the popular Netflix movie "Hometown Holiday" which was in the Top 10 globally and in the Top 5 in Australia, the US, and Canada.
Sarah is also a reoccurring lead voice-over actor for Fortune 500 company commercials, having voiced over a hundred commercials, including Best Buy, Xero, McDonalds, VISA, Johnson & Johnson, and more. Sarah has also lent her voice to the highly popular animated movie “My Little Pony”, and her character, Patia, was a fan favourite in the videogame Dragalia Lost. Sarah has also continually voiced e-learning videos, corporate projects, and provided narration for several travel and lifestyle documentaries.
Over the past 10 years, Sarah has dedicated her time in building strong relationships with those in the industry through casting assistant work and, most recently, founding her own company, Vancouver Voice Over Workshop, that connects local actors with casting directors across North America. She strives to always be on top of casting trends and in the know of what casting directors are looking for, giving her an edge as an acting and voice over coach and mentor.
Sarah has a 5-star rating on Google as a voice-over instructor and has been teaching in an academic setting for 2.5 years. With her extensive experience and knowledge, Sarah is a valuable asset to the Vancouver acting community, where she mentors the next generation of creative industry professionals.
